Today we are heading down to an area of town called the Flon. We will be heading to Biometrics, which is another stop to getting our residence visas. There we all had to take another picture without a smile, looking at the camera, and make sure the chair is not in the picture. From there, you have to provide your index fingerprints, verify the information and sign. This was done for all 5 of us! Ironically, Hailey's visa had an error with the spelling of her last name so she had to go through the process again. Switzerland is very particular when it comes to rules and it took the attendant 10 minutes to get it fixed. After that was done and we paid more money we were off to the book store and lunch. Randy stuck around, which was a treat for us all. I had been wanting to pick up a Know-it-all Passport book which is for this area and tells you everything you would ever want to know - housing, travel, food, outings (kid friendly too), shopping, and a schedule of festivals. We also gave in to buying a book for the kids, which was costly! Sydney bought a Dork Diaries book and it was 15Fr or just under $20US!!! That will be the last paper book we buy since Papa and Nana were generous enough to get them a Nook as a going away present!
Over that past couple days the kids have been busy building lego cars and seeing which was can make is furthest down our driveway. Aaron has been carrying them with him whenever we go anyway which came in handy when we were grabbing a bite to eat. Here are a couple pics of them racing there cars down a structure at the Flon.
