Almost settled...

On Saturday, we made our last big trip to IKEA for Hailey's wardrobe and rugs since there are hard floors throughout our apartment.  This will all be delivered Monday morning, so my afternoon will be busy building.  I will hopefully get to posting pictures of our place in the next week or so.  With the unpacking and getting organized coming to an end we have more time to go exploring.  On Friday the kids and I headed back to Aquasplash to meet up with a group of friends.  I figured they would eventually ask for a ticket to go up the bigger slides and today was the day.  The Rosen's and I split a couple tickets and the kids enjoyed some of the bigger slides.  As it usually happens, Hailey was the first and only to go down at first.  After the other kids, including older sister Sydney, saw how slow she was coming down the slide they decided to give it a go.  They even stepped up to the longer yellow slide that is pitch black for awhile.

After our trip to IKEA, we headed out for a family bike ride.  We rode down the hill to a playground with basketball hoops and a couple soccer fields, one that is open to the public.  It was a nice ride down, but coming home was bit of a challenge.  Sydney decided that Aaron had it the easiest since he was riding in the trailer.  Hailey was next since she was behind me on the trailer cycle and still had to pedal but we worked together.  Sydney was in the middle since she was on her bike but not pulling anyone.  Dad had the hardest job since he was pulling Aaron in the trailer.  Note the circular building that we are at street level with when at the park.  The last picture when we are half way home we are almost above that same building.

GOOOAAALLLL!!!!

Last night we had a sitter and were invited over for drinks with a group of other expats.  It was great to get out without the kids in tow.  Some of the other families there have kids that go to Champittet so it was nice to meet them and learn more about the school and living in Switzerland.
